Sorry if this question is asked all the time, but I'm a Wire/Broncos fan living in London coming up for a night out in Manchester and wondering what my best bet is for finding a pub in central Manchester that will deffo stick the Wire/Hudds game on at 16.45 on the Saturday. I'm guessing it's not as hard to find somewhere as in London, but wondering if anyone would know any 'safe bets'...just assuming you guys would be the most knowledgeable based on location! Assuming you're getting the train up and heading into Piccadilly I would suggest you try a sports bar called the Green first which is just round the corner from the station. Don't always show the games but have been known to put on occasionally and they have plenty of TVs so I'm sure they'd put it on one for you.
