| Super League is expanding to 14 clubs next season. What are people's thoughts on this?

Amazed they voted for this as it further dilutes funding from Sky. If there's a grain of sense left at the RFL Salford must come down increasing number going up to at least 3. Can see pros and cons for Fax - definitely a negative if as likely Bulls go up as crowds they bring are a boost for the whole division- against that losing Toulouse would be great as they bring nothing to the competition. Unless IMG bring in extra points for having the pitch with the greenest grass can't see us being involved - I'm sure our current board would not be pushing for promotion as at the moment we're nowhere near ready either off or on the field. Can't believe London will get the nod and would guess that it will be Bradford, Toulouse and probably York who seem the new blue eyed boys of the RFL. My worry would be for any of those teams is that to be anything like competive they'd probably need to replace at least 90% of their squads.

| The thing is, Fax haven't been anywhere near ready' for years. Have the club any ambition at all, or are we just stuck with playing friendlies for the rest of time?

| My thoughts - this will create an even more closed shop than it all ready is. What makes it worse is the 'separate special process' criteria to find the extra 2 clubs (3 if Salford go). If our near neighbours at Odslum are one of the 2/3, that's me done with RL

| I've made my feelings very clear on what's going on in rugby league recently on social media , I have emailed sport england amongst others regarding the conflict of interests regarding nigel wood , not gonna lie I'm pretty close to calling it a do as sport isn't sport nowadays is clouded with corrupt agenda driven nonsense.
For what it's worth here was the response I received a few days ago
Thank you for your recent email dated 9 July 2025 setting out your complaint about the Rugby Football League. Your email has been forwarded to the Information Governance Team as we coordinate Sport England’s complaint process. Please accept my apologies for the slight delay in acknowledging your complaint. I should start by explaining that Sport England is not an Investigatory body, Regulator or an Appellate body for the sports sector. Our primary purpose is to invest in sport and physical activity to make it a normal part of life for everyone in England and we achieve this by investing in and partnering with various sport organisations. While we can use our funding to encourage these organisations to adopt the principles of good governance set out in the Code for Sports Governance, we cannot compel compliance in the way a Regulator might. We do not have investigative powers nor do we have the authority to act as an arbitrator in disputes between sports organisations and their members or to investigate allegations against sports professionals. This means that we can only consider intervening in concerns raised about organisations that we fund. We do however have a complaints procedure which covers our own actions or decisions and, in limited circumstances, the actions or decisions of an organisation we fund. The procedure is published on our website and explains the types of complaint we can and cannot help with. I have attached a copy for your ease of reference. As you can see, our ability to intervene and consider complaints about third parties is limited to circumstances where: There is a reasonable suggestion that a sports or other organisation has breached the terms of an award agreement with us, or There is a reasonable suggestion that a Recognised National Governing Body (NGB) no longer meets the minimum criteria for recognition, and There is evidence that the complaint has been raised directly with the organisation in question and is not resolved at this stage. Regarding the issues you have raised, the RFL is subject to an Award Agreement and compliance with the Code for Sports Governance is a condition of this agreement. We are aware of recent changes to the Board and the AGM on 15 July. As it appears that your concerns have not yet been raised directly with the Rugby Football Union, we cannot become involved in this complaint. This is because the limitations of our remit prevent us from considering becoming involved with complaints against funded partners unless their complaints process has been exhausted. It is open to you to submit a complaint to the RFL, and come back to us if you remain unsatisfied once you receive their full response, at which point we will consider whether we can become involved. I hope that this is helpful. The information you have shared with Sport England will be treated confidentially and in accordance with our Privacy Statement. It will only be shared with those Sport England colleagues directly involved with reviewing your complaint and will not be shared with third parties unless you explicitly tell us we can do so. Please be aware that we keep a record of all complaints to monitor patterns and trends and to compile anonymised statistics for internal and external use. Kind regards, Imogen Foley THE INFORMATION GOVERNANCE TEAM We have updated our Privacy Statement to reflect the recent changes to data protection law but rest assured, we will continue looking after your personal data just as carefully as we always have. Our Privacy Statement is published on our website, and our Data Protection Officer can be contacted by emailing Gaile Walters

| The game is more corrupt than it ever has been and if any team gets into Super League without achieving anything to merit it on the field whilst at the same time having one of the worst spectator comfort and viewing experiences with amenities that are closer to being that of a third world country than that of a first rate sports club off the field it says it all and if that happens I’m done with it.
