It's outrageous that catalans have to pay the travel for other sl clubs. No surprise they are struggling funanciallly
Agreed, it’s pathetic from the rest of Super League to have pushed for this.
Pathetic but eminently predictable. Catalan are being isolated in a gathering blizzard of self interest. But I fear we haven't seen anything yet. It's only the beginning wait till Hetherington Wood and Beaumont get going!!! Massive changes are a foot!!
Matt Shaw did say Catalans are struggling financially on his podcast this week, the travel bills are approx £1m a year, most clubs would struggle with this sort of financial handicap.
Hopefully NRL Europe comes to fruition and we can leave the small minded clubs and their owners behind to fight for the scraps, whilst the elite clubs kick on to the next level
no reason why every SL club shouldn't be paying for their own travel to France, most of the clubs now have wealthy backers. If you cant afford it....time to drop out the league!
