Seems to me your Mr Glover has boxed very clever, I think he realised the SL game was up and that it was best to get rid of the dead wood from the club without having to pay out, holiday pay, redundancy etc etc. If you go into recievership every one is happy, you get a team to support, Glover gets the club without liabilities and RFL get their reason.
Glover put in a bid before Parkin, competitive bid, and when Parkin pulled out, in his excitement at "winning" he does his song and dance about taking over the club and only having to wait for due diligence, then one the euphoria wears off aided by the enforced break for the MM weekend, he realises he is in the driving seat. So no need to honour his first offer which was designed to compete, cos he has no competition, add to that the fact if he plays it this way the administrator can do the dirty work etc etc. Hence the delay.

Receivership means yous ceist to exist until a new buyer is found, so could not compete or emply any players until a new owner is found.

Widnes did the similar but at least had a few months to get it all sorted.
