| Watching the Super league show last night and Eddie H said Jamie Bloem has trained as a touch judge and that it's good to see ex players getting back in to the game like this.
Although the TJ, who missed obvious forward passes, referees in our league so I'm not so sure
Can't think of any other ex player doing this, can anyone else?

| JB was TJ on Thursday night at the York v Sheff match.
JB is probably the best candidate for refereeing given the number of times he was sent off in his career

| he's reffed at NCL level this year and the time i saw him ref up Siddal he was a bit whistle happy....pulling up for every slight error/penalty and didn't let the game though therefore very much was a stop start game! i guess you could say it was the Jamie Bloem show!

I also heard that comment. It just shows the inadequacies of modern day sports pundits. Total garbage comments, T/J's are referees who are making their way to a higher standard of refereeing or are failed referees at lower levels that's all. They keep fast-tracking young referees to the highest level within the pro game and almost to a man, they're rubbish 'cos most of them are robots who have no ideas about what players are trying to achieve with their techniques etc. because they haven't played the game for long enough. The art of refereeing is about as exciting as watching branded SL games nowadays, totally bland and rather predictable. Give me a Ganson or Colin Morriss anyday, they liven a game up & don't cower down to the officialdom.

| He certainly did.
I draw the line at Mr Kershaw though - especially on the many occasions he did us over at The Boulevard. He had a face i could have slapped all day

| I remember a few. Robin Whitfield (Colins Brother), Fred Lindop, John Holdsworth(Kippax), Colin Morris.
Who was the video ref against York under Faz? He always favoured Halifax when he officiated us!
